Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidates will support Nyabihu District in implementing environmental protection, land management, and community-based agriculture projects. Below are the main duties expected from the Site Technician.
- Guide local communities during the implementation of landscape restoration activities.
- Supervise construction of radical and progressive terraces.
- Coordinate tree planting and environmental conservation activities.
- Monitor trench excavation and other soil erosion control interventions.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on catchment rehabilitation and soil conservation activities.
- Monitor manpower attendance on project sites.
- Submit attendance lists every fifteen (15) days to facilitate workers' payment.
- Follow up the installation of rainwater harvesting tanks.
- Monitor livestock support activities including the supply of cows.
- Ensure activities are implemented according to technical standards and district plans.
- Work closely with local leaders and community members during project implementation.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess one of the following academic qualifications together with the required professional experience.

| A2 Certificate in Forestry | Minimum 5 Years |
