About the Scholarship
The Rwanda TVET Board (RTB) has officially announced scholarship opportunities for qualified in-service TVET teachers wishing to pursue Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech) studies at Rwanda Polytechnic during the 2026–2027 academic year.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet all the following requirements before submitting their scholarship application.
- Be a Rwandan citizen.
- Be employed as a TVET Teacher or Deputy Head Teacher in charge of Studies.
- Be 40 years old or younger.
- Have at least three (3) years of teaching experience, including one year at the current school.
- Possess a valid Pedagogical (RTTI) Certificate uploaded in TMIS as a CPD Certificate.
- Be teaching TVET core subjects.
- Hold an A1 Diploma in a technical field.
Required Documents
Applicants should prepare the following documents before applying:
- Copy of A1 Diploma.
- Academic Transcript.
- Appointment Letter.
- Pedagogical (RTTI) Certificate uploaded in TMIS.
- Original 2024–2025 Performance Evaluation (first and last signed pages).
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted online through the Teacher Management Information System (TMIS). Applicants must also apply for admission at Rwanda Polytechnic before completing the scholarship application.
