INES-Ruhengeri Health Programs Scholarship 2026
The Institut d’Enseignement Supérieur de Ruhengeri (INES-Ruhengeri) in collaboration with the Rwanda Ministry of Health has announced a funded scholarship opportunity for students who want to pursue undergraduate studies in health-related programs.
This initiative is part of Rwanda’s national strategy to strengthen the healthcare workforce by training more professionals in specialized medical fields.
Available Programs
- Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Anaesthesia
- Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences
Application Timeline
- Applications Open: 5 March 2026
- Application Deadline: 11 March 2026
- Admission Test: 16–17 March 2026
Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications before the official deadline.
Eligibility Requirements
Academic Grades
- Anaesthesia applicants must have at least Grade C in Biology and Chemistry.
- Biomedical Laboratory Sciences applicants must have at least Grade D in Biology and Chemistry.
Accepted Subject Combinations
- Physics – Chemistry – Biology (PCB)
- Mathematics – Chemistry – Biology (MCB)
- Biology – Chemistry – Geography (BCG)

Final scholarship recipients will be selected based on their performance in the entrance examination.
