RICA Admissions 2026/2027 — Full Scholarships for Future Conservation Agriculture Leaders
The Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture (RICA) has officially opened applications for the 2026/2027 academic year. The institution seeks passionate young people ready to lead agricultural transformation through conservation agriculture, innovation, entrepreneurship, and community impact. All admitted students receive a *full three-year scholarship* covering tuition, accommodation, meals, and medical insurance.
What RICA Is Looking For
Applicants who aspire to create transformational change in Rwanda’s agriculture sector. Those who demonstrate academic excellence, strong leadership potential, and a passion for entrepreneurial problem-solving will stand out during selection.
Admissions Criteria
- Create an online application account using a valid email and password.
- Have sat national exams with at least 70% minimum score.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and entrepreneurship potential.
- Show deep passion for agriculture and conservation practices.
- Meet English language proficiency requirements.
- Completed one of the following subject combinations or trades:
- MPG – Math | Physics | Geography
- PCM – Physics | Chemistry | Math
- MEG – Math | Economics | Geography
- MCE – Math | Computer Science | Economics
- MPC – Math | Physics | Computer Science
- MCB – Math | Chemistry | Biology
- PCB – Physics | Chemistry | Biology
- Animal Health
- Food Processing
- Agriculture
- Forestry
- Water and Irrigation
Applicants from international education systems—such as Cambridge or IB—are welcome. They must submit an equivalence certificate issued by the National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA).
