APR FC draws Pyramid in the CAF Champions League |
APR FC from Rwanda has once again drawn Pyramid FC, while Rayon Sports drew Singida Black Stars. These events took place on August 9, 2025, for the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup hosted in Tanzania.
After APR FC announced its draw over Pyramid FC, many APR fans expressed dissatisfaction and confusion about how the draw was achieved. This is because it was the third time APR FC has faced Pyramid FC in the CAF Champions League. Many APR fans were unhappy with how the qualification unfolded, though others believed APR could defeat Pyramid, given that Pyramid has beaten APR twice in the past two years, suggesting APR’s journey might end here.
