Instructor in Agricultural mechanization Technology. Rp Gishari College (RP-GISHARI) – Level 5.II
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and train students in areas of specialization
- Conduct practical sessions, planning, and preparation
- Assist students in portfolio building and innovation projects
- Supervise practical examinations and assessments
- Engage in professional development and community outreach
- Participate in institutional income-generating activities
- Provide technical advice and workshop support
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Mechanization
- Bachelor’s Degree in Farm Power Engineering
Experience & Certificates
- At least 2 years of teaching experience
- Minimum 1 year of industrial exposure (6 months proven)
- Second Class Upper Division transcript or degree
- TVET Trainer Certificate and Driving License Class F are added advantages
Skills & Competencies
- Teamwork, mentoring, and coaching skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of TVET systems and CBT/A teaching methodology
- Digital literacy and equipment handling skills
- Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and/or French
Assistant lecturer in Irrigation and Drainage Technology. Rp Gishari College (RP-GISHARI) – Level 4.III
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and train students in assigned courses
- Conduct lecture planning, preparation, and research
- Mentor junior academic staff and tutorial assistants
- Supervise student projects and industrial attachments
- Participate in institutional income-generating activities
- Provide professional and technical advice
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Water Engineering
- Master’s Degree in Soil and Water Management
- Master’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering
- Master’s Degree in Irrigation and Water Engineering
- Master’s Degree in Water Resources Engineering
Additional Requirements
- Second Class Upper Division transcript or degree
- At least one publication in a peer-reviewed indexed journal
