Ojani Noa Fires Back at Jennifer Lopez’s 'Never Been Loved' Claim
Ojani Noa, Jennifer Lopez’s first husband, has responded sharply to the singer’s recent confession that she has never felt truly loved by any of her partners. The former couple, who tied the knot in 1997 and split just a year later, are once again in headlines following Noa’s bold remarks on social media.
In a now-viral post on his Instagram, Noa accused the 56-year-old superstar of playing the victim and failing to take responsibility for her failed relationships.
“Let me be real — stop putting us down. Stop lying and playing the victim. The problem isn’t us, it’s you,” wrote Noa, as reported by Parade.
He continued by claiming that Lopez struggles with loyalty and tends to value fame more than genuine connection.
“You’ve been loved many times, married four times, and dated countless men. You’ve had amazing relationships — including with me,” Noa said, according to Yahoo Entertainment.
The 51-year-old actor claimed that he truly loved Lopez and even relocated closer to Hollywood to support her career. However, he says she eventually chose “fame and money” over love.
“That’s why I left. Tell the truth for once. Let the world know who’s really at fault. You should feel ashamed and reflect on your own actions,” he added, as cited by OK! Magazine.
These remarks came shortly after Lopez’s emotional interview with radio host Howard Stern, where she discussed her struggles with love and self-worth.
“It’s not that I’m unlovable — it’s that they weren’t capable of love,” she explained, according to InStyle. “I had everything — the ring, the house, the wedding — but I didn’t love myself back then.”
Jennifer Lopez has had four marriages and several public relationships throughout her career, including with Ben Affleck, Marc Anthony, and Sean Combs. Despite the ups and downs, she remains one of Hollywood’s most successful and talked-about artists.
