Big Chance for Rwandan Doctors: Fellowship in Pediatric Heart Care
The Ministry of Health in Rwanda (MoH), together with the State of Israel and Save A Child’s Heart (SACH), is giving doctors a chance to study in Clinical Fellowship Programs.
This is part of Rwanda’s 4x4 Health Reform to make healthcare stronger and help children with heart problems.
Who Can Join?
There are two training programs:
- Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care
You need a Master’s Degree (Mmed) in Pediatrics, Anesthesiology & Critical Care, or Emergency Medicine & Critical Care. - Pediatric Cardiology
You need a Master’s Degree (Mmed) in Pediatrics.
Why This Is Important
- Save A Child’s Heart (SACH) is a group in Israel that does over 600 heart surgeries for kids every year.
- About 70% of the children are from Africa.
- This program will help Rwanda train more doctors to save young lives.
